RIOBOT Metal Gear Sahelanthropus Product Review! Part 2

We enter the back end of our review of the RIOBOT Metal Gear Sahelanthropus!

Please check out  Part 1 first if you missed it. 

It's time to take a look at the mechanisms built in that allow this to transform into the REX Mode.
 

Done by the design team "T-Rex" that specializes in the development of transformable toys  so you can be confidant that any and all mechanisms built in will be well thought and functional.

This article is meant to be used with the instructions included with the product so for those who have purchased it we recommend you read this with it in your hands and try out what is on the post .  

Push the head down to contract the joint

Next pull the shoulder joints out

By doing space around the shoulders should open up. 

The arms can be folded cleanly as in the picture.

Put the shoulder armor over the folded arms.

Slide the crotch joints to the front.

How it will look from the sides.

Lowering of the armor on the thighs

Range of motion of the legs can be improved by adjusting the position of the crotch joints and the armor on the thighs.

This mechanisms can also be used in upright mode as well so take the time to test it later.

Pull the knee joints out.

By bending the joints in the direction seen in the picture the legs can be changed in to the REX mode legs.

Increase the range of motion of the legs by pulling the crotch joints outward.

Pull the waist unit to the rear 

The crotch joints can be hidden by covering it with the waist armor. 

Pull the chest joint outwards.

This will improve the range of motion of the chest parts.   

Bend the upper body forward.

Pull out the joint arm on the back pack.

Move the back pack to the rear and lock it.

Push in the armor on the back of the head.

Move the head as seen in the picture.



Make a few adjustments and your Sahelanthropus will now be in REX mode!

The silhouette will be reminiscent of the famous Metal Gear Rex well known among fans of the series! .

It will transform but as it is a simple transformation and well thought out the articulation will not differ that much from the upright mode featured in Part 1 of this post.   

So no problems with posed it with the whole body twisted!

The roaring scene from the game will look great when you do it with this.

And of course don't forget the Rail Gun!

By using the base included in the product it can be posed steadily in both upright and REX mode! 

Last up is the box art!

This is an expensive product but we hope the box art will make it easy for people at stores to notice and pick up this product.
